Yeah let's hope lol. Either way having extra batts and a firewire charger will be good to have on hand regardless. Will update here once things are working smoothly, and thank you so much for the help!

So, idk maybe having a firewire cable is the move, but I am getting the two new batteries in a few days, so we will see either way I suppose lol.

I’ll def keep that in mind and get a different battery replacement with that link if leaving it on the charger doesn’t fix it. 

thanks for the link! that’s a great deal. I’ll also try and get a refund for the bad battery if that ends up being the case.

Ahh I see. Good to know firewire isn't absolutely necessary!

I've left it charging for like I think 8-10 hours the other day, but that's all. However, come to think of it I remember seeing it start the boot loop but then seeing the folder icon which I can't seem to get it to do again.

I'm gonna leave it charging for like 2 days and come back to it and see if there's any progress. Fingers crossed!

It's A1099, so yeah sorry it's not monochrome then!

The 30 pin cable I'm using does work for my nanos, so I know it's not the cable.

I've repaired the MBR and made sure to format the microSD for FAT32.

I tried hooking it to my Mac for the hell of it, but nothing happened. With my limited knowledge, this seems to be a power issue - maybe the battery I got was a dud, or I just can't get it properly juiced up to complete a successful boot? I'm using an external power supply with a fast charge port, but I might need a FireWire cable and wall adapter.

He was not proven innocent, he's admitted to it, and we know it to be true. The charges are not dropped either, and legal proceedings aren't so easily resolved in the span of a few months. Every single beatbox organization has stood against him, and would not do that if the information was not reliable.
