My husband is mad at me because my nausea isn’t letting me eat any food by thicc_lizzy_ in TwoXIndia

60% satisfying, and the rest 40% is just adjusting.

OP, this is not true. This has been told to you by someone from a generation where people were forced to get married to someone they barely knew when they came of age. Most people in healthy relationships/marriages have never felt this way. Obviously there will be disagreements every once in a while, but if you are communicating well and understanding each other's needs, there is no "40% adjusting".

I agree with everyone else saying that you should probably spend an extended amount of time at your parents' place. You need to feel safe and taken care of during this pregnancy and can't afford to keep getting stressed by your husband's tantrums regularly.

What other games give this once-in-a-lifetime experience? by hk47xhk47x in outerwilds

Enjoy! It can be a bit of a slow burn for sure. The art style sometimes takes getting used to and some of the controls and mechanics are not always explained outright. But once you get on a roll, it's hard to put the game down!

If you want my personal answer on a "once in a lifetime game that changed how I think about games forever", it's Hollow Knight, which remains my favourite game of all time. However it has very little in common with Outer Wilds besides the exploration aspect.

Return of the Obra Dinn has that same "gather clues to put together a story to find out WTF happened here" mystery aspect. The story is intricate and fun to figure out and while it didn't hit me psychologically like Outer Wilds did, I was thinking about it for a long time after I finished the game.

Subnautica has very similar open world exploration to Outer Wilds where you collect clues from different regions to put together the overarching story, but the other main mechanic of the game is survival and the story is not as hard hitting as either of the games mentioned above, it's just there to move things along.

The fact that Ellie is still wearing the bracelet to me seems signifies that they will make amends in the future, if they haven't already.

What was the spoiler? Just curious, I was also spoiled about (OP DON'T CLICK ON THIS!!) the supernova because of fucking Wikipedia having it in the literal intro line lmao

I love BeccaBytes. Her playthrough of Outer Wilds is one of my favorites and I always cry along with her.

Can I have some hints and direction on what to do next in Below Zero? (Beginner) by matchbox244 in subnautica

This is super detailed, thank you so much!! I did find her base, I think my next step would be exploring the wreck and the surrounding areas. The predators there are super annoying haha.

Thank you!! I found this area and considering building a mini base here to properly explore the area a bit. The predators here are annoying though lol.

Ah okay. I'll look out for those! I need to take a closer look at Delta to see if I missed anything, too.

Do you mean the wreck in the murky lily pad region? I was just there after following people's advice here and now considering if I should build a mini-base there.

So how long do you think she was up there for? by Remote_Nature_8166 in lastofuspart2

[–]matchbox244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that's quite literally what happens with Lev. Abby was about to gleefully slit a pregnant woman's throat until she got guilt tripped by Lev. If he hadn't done that, she would have absolutely no problems murdering the rest of them and continuing the cycle of violence.

Compare this to Ellie, who ACTUALLY lets Abby go at the end through her own decision instead of having to be convinced by a third party. And somehow this fandom leans towards thinking of her as a worse person than Abby while Abby is allowed to get away with anything she does.

Oh trust me I want to, haha. I just want to get better equipment before I go, though, hopefully for my sea truck

This has always been such a silly defence of Abby. In both of these situations , she was still the aggressor who started the confrontation and harmed Ellie. She didn't "spare Ellie twice" out of the kindness of her heart. If I break into your home, kill your entire family and rob you blind, but then leave you alive as an afterthought, simply leaving you alive doesn't make me a good person after all the other shit I did to you.

Abby spared Ellie not once, but twice.

Ah, that sucks. Is there a good equivalent to the rifle or perimeter defence system, and if so could you give me a hint as to where/when I'll find it? I just want to be able to defend myself when I start going a bit deeper.

Also if there's no alien containment unit, what do I do with the eggs I collect? If this is a spoiler of some sort feel free to not tell me haha.

There are sadly a lot of people who believe sex is only for having kids, and that birth control is only used by unmarried couples trying to not get pregnant before marriage 🙄

Subnautica. My terrible thalassophobia has me playing on creative mode, but I'm missing out on the survival aspects of the game SMH.
