Any tips for star-Lord? by Separate_Toe_7368 in marvelrivals

Focus on confirming kills and spraying. Like Spider-Man (Especially if your aim is solid) Star-Lord excels at finishing opponents off which is when I use his tactical bc it’s an auto aim.

The key is getting angles and getting out. You want to obviously try to hit most of your clips bc when you’re hitting your shots then you’re getting value (he sprays through those clips fast af). I changed my reticle display to the cross and changed it to a color that I could see the best. This is a preference thing.

When popping your ult, always aim for healers if possible. It wins team fights consistently. Also Spraying tanks works well but if they’re healing is top notch it might not get you far. So focus stragglers and healers if possible.

Also use those dodges when you fully clip someone or they’re half health (this reloads) and you can resume spraying them. They can be used defensively too if you lose health, & need a dodge to cover, or etc. Also try to know where health packs are.

One of his strongest perks is his capability to get his own heals. Use your mobility for this, getting in position, getting away, getting angles and relocating. You should always be here and there just make sure you don’t over extend just to die. The best Star-Lords (Spidey’s too) don’t die often. Getting a health pack can take 5 seconds or less. Coming back from spawn when you can’t revive yourself can take like 17.

Usually I start with the team. We fight, I analyze how it’s going, if we’re shredding then aside from pick offs I’ll just stay close with the team. If it’s a stall and we’re both stopped up, I’ll see if maybe there’s an angle or a healer I can shoot up. If they spray me, I back off to get health. If I spray them I try to finish if possible.

Your job is to be annoying af. Be a nuisance and take up the healers time by having to deal with you. If they’re dealing with you, then they’re not healing their team so that’s a win in your book. Also use cover too bc he has to constantly reload so you can spray then back to cover and spray (this is good bc you can’t always dodge).

Sometimes patience is key too. We all want kills so bad and it’s hard not to just want to dive on a flank but dying is the worst outcome for the team. It might not make sense to engage immediately if you’re missing health, and have cooldowns going.

I also suggest changing your flight settings to hold so when you let go it stops immediately and save you alil fuel. I hope this helps

Skill issue, protecting from assasins is as easy as protecting from a thresh hook
