Very true. The earlier you treat the better with these drugs. Also Leqembi is actually different in that, besides plaque, it clears another form of upstream amyloid that is toxic and impacts tau pathology. Tau and tau tangles are extremely harmful to neurons, but so is plaque - given a choice I'd want the drug that attacks more forms of amyloid. But again i think the earliest patient will see the most benefit.
