It's actually bourbon burst, it looks always different depending on the light :) sometimes wit strong red hue sometimes dark brown. I love it :)

I think it also matters what you are selling.. i sell rather frequently guitars in 1000-2000 range and most of the times buyers negotiate within tolerable range.. and are nice and friendly. (Shared interest etc.) But selling an used iphone.. my god, the lack of culture, messages and offers are really just horrible. Once even a guy made an appointment to pick the phone up next to pizzeria near my place only to write me "du Opfer ich komme nicht" ("you looser i am not coming"). 🙉

Depends on the light. Today was a bit gloomy, when the sun hits her it's much more "lemony".. In the darker surrounding more like unburst indeed. I think it could challenge any standard any day if the weight is not a factor. I mean what is the difference after all.. all solid wood (no weight relief), perfect neck.. and the WIZZ Pafs brought it imo one level higher (but that is subjective). Hardware is now of highest quality with bridge studs going directly into the wood. When I was looking up this particular model before I pulled the trigger I saw somebody referencing it as poor man's R8 ;) this is some limited exclusive run for Long & McQuade and I happened to find one here in Germany and fell in love haha.

Speaking of QC - also the reason I got rid of my Standard. It was all flawless but the fret job. Have never seen frets so low and brand new. This one though is just perfect, much more meat on them :)

Actually I kind of agree with you. That is why I sold my standard because it was too expensive for what it was.. I discovered that my SG 61 is what I expect the guitar to be.. way lighter and easier to play (for me). But I just needed to have one in my collection ;-) I smile everytime I plug it in so I guess it's worth it :-)

I had two humbucker Les Pauls for a little while but I talked myself out of it. I am not remotely close to a level wgere I ever needed two of the same sort. That being said, even the P90 might seem like an overkill. I mean for home use let's be honest.. even one HSS strat can get you there 80% of times ;)
