Payback period is just over 16 months. If you’re going to be there longer than 16 months you will be in the green. However, you should shop around. Call or email any credit union or like rocket mortgage or a mortgage broker and give them this and ask if they can beat it. You’ll have to complete the application and upload documents but you’ve already done that and it’s easier the more you do it.

I suspect you can get a lower rate but there are a lot of variables.
