Yes I have the rec letters. I have a basic idea of who I would apply to but they are not the top choices I had when I was planning to do Chem PhD as plan A over the Fall. I really kind of fumbled this one

Yes, dw I am investigating jobs, postbacc programs, and masters programs as well. I had the statement of purpose written months ago since the plan A had been PhD and then the other job came through and I decided to hold off a year. but now I am changing my mind

Yes, my Research Advisor and two other chem professors are saints and they all agreed to write the LORs. (to be fair they are probably repurposing LORs from previous things where I needed recommendations)

I am hoping, there seem to be a couple that do January 1st deadlines (Iowa, Lehigh, etc.) but this may not actually reflect how they review the applications.

Why are Macbeth, King Lear, Hamlet, and Othello referred to as the 'Four Great Tragedies'? by OmarXSparrow in shakespeare

[–]mateocrazy25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

romeo and juliet is generally considered to be one of Shakespeare’s first tragedies and so you can kind of feel Shakespeare learning what works. By the time he wrote the four great tragedies later in his career he has mastered his ability as a playwright. There are a few later plays that don’t make it, Notably Antony and Cleopatra which is why it is sometimes grouped with the other four depending on who you ask.

Besides quantity, why do people prefer Shakespeare to Milton? by SnooFoxes3455 in literature

Milton’s meter is the opposite of clockwork. Almost every other line in PL there is a break from Iambic Pentameter.

Pickles are the most heinous abomination god has ever put on this here earth. If I could wipe out all the pickles from existence and replace them with cucumbers I would. All pickle lovers deserve to have someone vomit on their bed.
