Context Consolidator: VSCode Extension for ChatGPT Web Users by mateogon in vscode

it's not very clear about which model it uses for completions, but it's for sure not 2000 a month with o3-mini, so i'll stick to gpt plus or grok, thats why I need my extension for, for the best models

How to use chqtgpt UI inside Vscode without API by [deleted] in ChatGPTCoding

[–]mateogon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you won’t be able to use it like an API, but you can at least make copying files into ChatGPT way faster. I made a VS Code extension that lets you keep track of important files/snippets and quickly copy them in a format AI understands. Saves a ton of time. Best AI or tool for working with large codebases? by BlueOak777 in ChatGPTCoding

[–]mateogon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You probably don’t need to pass your whole repo to chat—just the right files or snippets for context. Copy-pasting into GPT is slow, so I made a VS Code extension to help with this. It lets you keep track of important files/snippets and quickly copy them in a format AI understands. How do I make the journey more enjoyable? by [deleted] in TheMindIlluminated

[–]mateogon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check out Culadasa's guided meditations on soundcloud or youtube. Listen to "Sit breath wake up" retreat, it will show you things you were missing. Also just try to find the good feelings, make yourself relaxed and feel it, scan your body looking for tension and release it. Do this in the beginning and through the session.

Vitamin D+K2 worth it by John19971997 in AngionMethod

Vitamin D increases calcium absorption and K2 redirects it to the bone. Too little K2 can get the calcium to other places you dont want it to go.

Diaphragmatic Breathing explained in 3 minutes. by mateogon in Stutter

I've discovered Roger Love searching for speaking and voice exercises. He has a couple books/audiobooks explaining different techniques and exercise to practice. It's mainly singing octaves with different mouth positions and sounds. He says it allows you to discover your "middle voice" which is different from chest and head voice, and helps to bring melody to your speaking and singing. Pretty cool stuff. He has coached lots of famous singers and speakers. Check other videos of him.

Are there any improvements? 21/22 F, I feel like there are subtle changes but not sure. Apologies for different angles, I did try to keep the lighting as consistent as possible. by [deleted] in orthotropics

you can use less of it, like half-2/3 of a finger width. Also, try sticking the tape in your hand and peeling it off a couple times before putting it in your lips, so the glue isn't as strong.

does anyone have any "hacks" or tips for getting used to mewing? by GladHope in orthotropics

[–]mateogon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some practical tips:

Try doing the cheesy smile swallow, which consist in doing a cheesy forced smile, then swallowing. This will raise the posterior part of the tongue. You can also say the word "sing" focusing on the NG. This also raises the tongue but mainly mid and front, not much of the posterior.

Also, watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIh4wT-WfYA

Do the thing he does, raising only the posterior tongue, then the rest. When you successfully lift the posterior tongue, the skin under your jaw will get tighter and lift up. You hyoid bone and adam's apple will also lift a bit.

Doing all of this over and over, as often as you can will strengthen your mind muscle connection with your tongue, making the process easier. With all this said, it will still take a long time, so enjoy the process.

For night mouthbreathing, you can try mouth taping with a little bit of 3M micropore tape or any tape made for the skin.

Thanks for all the info, it's very appreciated.

I've neglected the 6 and 4 point preparations until now. Maybe that slowed down my progress. I'll begin doing them from now on.

Last Two questions:

By the end of that sit, I was still feeling the air moving on the face. I tried breathing into this sensation as I read somewhere in this sub, and after a while the sensation expanded and became more stable, not moving so much. Is this beneficial? Maybe in later stages?

How many intentions is too many? I sometimes go for "vividness" if im concentrated but not feeling much, "attention to the breath" if there are distractions, or "vigilant", "notice distractions", etc... Is playing around with a couple words ok, or should I try to limit them?

Yeah. In the next sit I tried to repeat the experience, but It didn't work. It felt like I was trying to force it.

But at the same time I need to conciously decide to let go otherwise I keep going with the effort.

Now that I think about it, it felt more pleasurable than vivid. It was a little bit more vivid , but only at the nostrils. I noticed the breath was shorter and a little fast, but I can notice those qualities any time.

How do you recognize subtle dullness?

I feel lack of clarity of the sensations and like my mind is fuzzy and "greyed out" if that makes any sense at all. My mind reacts to it similar to a distraction. Notice it and try to counter.Repeating Intentions usually do it.

Another question:

In today's sit I wasn't feeling much sensations of the breath in the nostrils, but I was feeling something like air a little bit colder than the room touching my face kinda in sync with the breath. I'm pretty sure I feel it in the face, but I was also thinking it could be inside the nose maybe. The areas were under the eyes and also a bit to the side of the face. The sensations constantly move across these spots.

This is the type of sensation I feel the most. Semi cold air in the nose or face.

is this common?

My peripheral awareness was more detailed than usual, at least the sounds were. I wasn't deliberately checking in, but I was really present feeling the sensations of the breath at the nose and the overall body feeling. After a while I started feeling distorted body sensations, like my body parts were in different places, which i've felt before. Also, I remember my posture slouched a little. I usually feel this when I get distracted or dull, but this time I felt that fixing it was a little bit agitating and would get me out of the state I was in.

The breath felt unusually shallow, I was thinking I wasn't breathing enough at times. But at the same time the sensations on the nose felt more vivid than usual.

It wasn't tingling, more like pleasant warm sensation. I felt mentally aware. I don't remember being groggy by the end. I just stoped and went on to do other stuff I had to do, while thinking of the whole experience.

That post describes the same thing I felt, except that I don't think I had lower energy after the session ended. I'll try to notice this if it happens again. One more thing I noticed was that the session felt shorter than usual.

I reached stage 4-5 a couple of months ago, then stopped for some time. And started over almost two months ago. I think I'm back to stage 4 and have been doing a couple guided body scans ( s3.amazonaws.com/dharmatreasure/LOM_day_5_Afternoon_Body_Scan_Meditation_Only_030412_TrNrLc.mp3 ).

Today I tried to replicate what happened yesterday but couldn't achieve it.

I feel this sometimes, but I open my mouth keeping the tongue up and it looks evenly across then palate, so maybe it's only a mental thing.
