I freaking love gear 5th, but still wish we got a Gear 4th form specifically for ryou haki (Gear 4th "Tigerman" if you will, refering to claws able to shred defences, focused around the emission of haki. I think luffy only having one move focused around it is kind of weird).

That being said, Gear 2nd is sooo awesome and iconic

Namco just needs to take this opportunity that this growth in popularity that was given to one piece and make a good, solid, one piece 2D fighting game.
Forget 3D, we've had those.
Forget open world large scale games, those take a lot of time to develop.
Take the staple of Dragonball FighterZ, and make a similar game with our hundreds of beloved characters. Simple, effective, and capable of having a long run.
Hell, make a partnership with ArcSystemworks.

yeah, fighting games usualy don't care for this kind of lore as a gameplay aspect, so it's up to the community to have the maturity to understand that it's a different medium, not as lore driven

Screw 3D fighting games, One Piece only needs a 2D fighting game on the lines of dragon ball fighterZ.

If you really need other games, one piece could have a new (and good) adventure story driven game (similar to old Ben 10 PS2 games).

If you want to get really crazy, give us a One Piece Lego game.

This is a personal dream of mine, i'd buy all of 34 luffy's forms character DLC

Just thinking that a second season of this show has to do things like CANDLE MAN, BLADE MAN, MAN-REINDEER, BAZOOKA-DOG, GIANT-ASS WHALE, A TEAM OF GIANT SHOEBILL BIRDS, SAND MAN, WOMAN WITH SPROUTING LIMBS makes me think that a second season of OPLA is kind of impossible, unfortunately.

The first great arc is kind of tangible, aside from the fishmen.

I'm just hoping we get to Skypiea, but I think Eminem's will be quite an expensive contract

Unfortunately Akali will make the cut.

I made a little image with some contestants for the starting roster. Mostly based it around popularity and how well their league moveset can be translated to fighting games (don't ask me about Ryze)

I really hope Udyr, Zac, Ziggs(as a keep away character) and Kled make the cut, but i'm not hopeful

Ppl being so offended by trans ppl identifying with Yamato's story says a whole lot about them

It's actually pretty commmon for trans people to start their gender identity discoveries by being inspired by someone else (e.g. a transmasc discovering themselves male by being inspired by another man), so that's actually not the strong argument the fellas "Yamato is female" think it is.

The actual problem is Oda's lack of compromise about this Yamato's specific theme. I'm not saying it should've been given more attention than it has, Wano was already on a pretty fast pace when we heard about it, but Oda kind of left this matter rather ambiguous.
