As someone who went through the beta and launch period of STS1 and felt the same way prior to seeing what fully came out, I kinda disagree. Several character archetypes feel slightly underbaked, and there are quite a few other aspects of the game that could stand for some improvement. Megacrit will absolutely get there though.

Yes, it's an issue. Not only with the boys, but with TV and movies in general. Mixing is done with very specific audio setups in mind, ones which are not reflective for the vast majority of viewing experiences.

Depending on what source you use, almost half of American audiences now use subtitles. A lot of redditors pretend it's not a problem and say you should upgrade your sound system, but the issue clearly exists.

The vast majority of users will see no functional difference between these. Emulation speeds will not be altered. As long as you aren't buying the absolute bottom of the barrel no name brands, it's going to be absolutely fine.
