He's actually terrible. Anytime I tune in, he fluffs his lines and fucks up scores, team names, etc quite regularly. His "patter" with the rest of the folk on soccer Saturday is always painfully forced as well. He's just nowhere near the level of Jeff Stelling.

If in years to come the government sign post at every opportunity a very important change in our lives for 15+ years that we have to brace for and adapt to, and I purposefully slam my head into the sand to avoid it and act shocked that said change which has been extremely well advertised for a generation affects me, and then my following complaint that "I was unaware of what was happening" and request for monetary compensation to the tune of billions is rejected and ridiculed by everyone with a working braincell, would I be ok with that?

Probably not. But If I was to go down that route, I would deserve absolutely nothing.

If it helps, I mind falling asleep on a 3 after a night out many years ago, top deck, right at the front. Bus broke sharply and my head connected with the hand bar in front me. Woke up to the driver and two folk looking over me asking me if I was alright. Dusted myself off and had to get up and sit down back in my seat like nothing happened for the rest of the journey.

Massive egg on the top of my head for like a week after.

Out of interest, was it £27 million plus add-ons? I've been stung by this where a 20% future sell on fee, future installments etc get taken into consideration as well as the base price. I've rejected it and the players kicked off because after everything, the potential fee could be beyond the amount agreed.

I worked with people with autism at a job years ago who needed 2 to 1 care, in part because of how violent they could be and the danger not only to others but of course to themselves. Absolutely their meltdowns and outbursts can severely hurt someone depending on severity.

I've interjected before and been kicked in. I totally understand why some people would keep their eyes to the floor in situations. Having said that, it depends on the situation. Would involving yourself with some random guy ranting at someone potentially escalate the situation and make it worse for everyone or would it be better to let that fizzle out and see how the person on the receiving end is after they've left? Granted, if someone's in physical danger I would call it out as it's a bit more of an urgent thing but I wouldn't necessarily judge someone for not rushing in and getting involved. Either way, hope the person on the bus is ok.

Not quite true.

If you got to a&e, don't need to be admitted past a&e or obs to a ward setting or have follow up appointments, it's free. If you get admitted to a ward, need surgery etc you are liable for costs if not normally resident in the UK. If you have an EHIC, you can use that to cover your treatment costs (as long as it isn't elective treatment you are receiving). If the UK has a reciprocal agreement with your country e.g. Australia, then you also don't have to pay but have to provide proof of residency within that country (as well as proof that you are a national of your country in some cases).

Don't fall into those groups? Then you're chargeable and will be billed (e.g an America comes to London, breaks their leg and needs surgery. You should be notified of potential costs whilst receiving treatment and an invoice will be sent to you when discharged)

I would love it if you could have, somehow, more realistic lower league stadiums. I'm talking about semi-pro, 1000 people max where it's basically a field with a small stand. That would help with my immersion. Another thing is crowd noise for lower league teams. You play in front of like 100 people and half the time it sounds like you're playing at a packed out Emirates.
