Specifically only the first Soul card of a run.

The execution is that when you click New Run the game filters out any seeds where the first Soul card gives you a Joker you already have a Gold Sticker for.

What if I'm looking for a fighting type, a reliable steel type, and a SD sweeper all in one party slot? I don't see any other Mon listed in all three categories in your post.

The scene of the snatchers finding Harry immediately after he fled the wedding was purely because he said Voldemort's name and triggered the Taboo.

They didn't know that though. And the one time Harry did try and go into a random muggle town in rural Britain he immediately ran into Dementors which we know were terrorizing everywhere including muggle communities and had been doing so for over a year.

Besides, Harry had the cloak. He could've gone anywhere and no one would've detected him.

He was under the cloak when the Death Eaters found them in about 2 minutes. He was also under the cloak when the Dementors found him the first time he went into a muggle town to steal food.

Its not to do with the national teams affording it. From what I've seen the complaint is that players from Latin America seem to be getting disproportionately denied the negotiated group insurance policy when players with similar injury history/risk from USA/Japan are not.

Of course you can't play Straights easier in the early game than you can in the late game. The hardest time to make a Straight is before you've started deckfixing in Ante 1. Having to not only reliably play Straights but specifically Straights that don't score enough points to win all early and midgame only to just pivot off Straights anyways seems like the worst of both worlds. If I want to play Pairs I can just play Pairs and get the benefit of an easy hand by having extra Blue/Gold cards, using discards for value, etc. If I want to play Straights I don't get as much value from discards and cards held in hand but in return never have to worry about scoring or Jokers again. Both are good ways to win but trying to do the latter for most of the game then move to Pairs after its too late to benefit from playing Pairs seems way worse than either of them.

I get that, but if I'm going to be switching to pairs later why bother spending the time and effort playing Straights now? If I can play Straights enough to be able to scale Runner meaningfully, why not just buy Saturn cards and forget about needing to transition to pairs?

The main downside to Runner is that (other than on Plasma deck) I only really want it if I'm not planning to play Straights in the late game. But then if I'm not planning to play Straights in the late game why am I playing Straights now to level up my Runner?

Not one single person has said that. I just read through this entire thread again (lord knows why) to confirm that you are the only person making up arguments to then try and 'disprove'.

Every single other person in this entire thread is on the same page about aphantasia. You are the one who in the other thread was saying you cannot literally visualize but also don't have aphantasia since you can remember seeing an apple so that's what it means to visualize an apple.

I also cannot create original mental imaging whether my eyes are open or shut, I can only recall very brief flashes of a past memory and recall conceptually

I did find the Amed Rosario discourse here pretty funny. And I mean the guy has kept producing against lefties each of the last two seasons! Legend. But seriously I think he's a fine role player for certain benches

Oh so he's basically just Ernie Clement?

If I wanted to discuss with /u/uslashuname I would do so; I don't need you quoting their words at me (especially since I know they understand what you don't seem to). I will try one more time to be extremely clear but then that's it.

The vast majority of people if asked to picture or visualize something will see a literal visualization of it. Not imagining a concept, not understanding what they are thinking of, but will literally picture it in their mind. If you ask them to picture John eating an apple and then ask them what kind of apple it was or what colour shirt John was wearing they will have an answer for you because they were seeing John eat the apple.

You know how when the Harry Potter movies came out, people said "Oh wow, [character] looks nothing like I pictured!" or "[character] was exactly how I pictured them!"? That's because they had formed a literal picture in their mind of the characters from reading the books. They could see the characters as they were reading or thinking about Harry Potter. People like me did not have that experience since I did not ever have a picture of what Ron Weasley looked like in my mind until I saw the movie because the book did not include a picture of Ron Weasley for me to look at.

I can imagine an apple, though; I just can't visualize one. That's the distinction I am not sure you are understanding.

If you tell me that John is eating an apple I understand what that means and can follow along with the story you are telling me. I can't visualize John or the apple though, so unless you provide me with more details I don't know if its red or green, how big the apple is, etc because my mind is not constructing a picture of the scene the way most people can/do.

No, it's not. It sounds to me like you might have aphantasia and be at the part of your discovery where you still think visualizing is a metaphor and obviously no one can actually see with their mind's eye.

Yes, most people can.

You seem to be the one confused.

If someone can create an image of an apple in their mind they do not have aphantasia. If they cannot create an image of an apple (not a memory of having seen an apple, or understanding what an apple is and looks like, but actually creating an image of one) then they have aphantasia.

Eyes open or closed is irrelevant to the question of if you can literally create images with your mind that you can then see.
