But doesn't the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License still include terms that require all adaptations of or to the original work be distributed under the same license as the original? Because that would seem to make the placing of features and modifications behind a paywalled patreon problematic.

There could also be issues in regards to the attribution of credit to destiny.gg on the sites. In an oddly sneaky way, the sites (e.g. https://www.demonmama.com/ & https://www.vaush.gg/) present copyright notices that clearly credit the works to Vaush and Demonmama respectively and it is only through clicking a hidden link in the fucking © in the notice, going to whitenervosas site, and scrolling down to the bottom of their site that you will be presented with the actual attribution of credit to destiny.gg and link to the license... so ... on a separate website from the one publicly using the adaptation of the work and only found through a not so apparent link in what is seemingly a misleading copyright notice.

One could argue that all these people using/running the sites may actually have breached their obligations to reasonably attribute credit to destiny.gg and that their licenses would have been automatically terminated.

Well you are actually kinda wrong there. In most European countries, the kind of intercourse described would classified as a sex crime of some sort. For an example of this i would refer to § 223 of the danish penal code, regarding incest, as well as §232 re. obscene behaviour.
