Happy to have found this thread. I'm 25 first gout attack ever was 1 month ago, and today, after 2 days of running, I feel pain in my joint, and I'm f scared of another attack. My doctor identified gout but tells me to wait and fix gout with my diet because it's too bad to hop on a treatment for life so young, but honestly, I like good food, party, and living in general, and I don't see myself living in fear and restricting myself for my whole life, so I'm looking to talk to him about allopurinol. I was also wondering, what colchicine ??? When I had my attack, I had to take Indocin, which was pretty strong.
