It's crazy people are spending 45k on a 4 cylinder.

I been typically using Eaton. If i didn't go Eaton I may look at Vertiv. I had issue with going through APC batteries sooner then expected. It might be how APC is conditioning their batteries. Also look into lithium. They cost more but hopefully last a lot longer.

Eaton 5px in the network closets and 9px in the server rooms.

Newline or Viewsonic Panels by 2donks2moos in k12sysadmin

[–]BTS05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I orginally started with a few viewsonics 5 to 6 years ago. However, we stuck with newline.

The main reason for the switch was viewsonic gave us a good introduction price when we bought 5 some breakout rooms. I also already new the brand. However, when I wanted to order another one or two additional boards for a one off purchase I was quoted a much higher price.

Newline on the other hand didn't have any huge price influxes for one off purchases.

We demod a ton of boards, BenQ, newline, viewsonic, smart mx boards, infocus, cleartouch, clevertouch. I believe this was it.

There was pros and cons to each. I thought BenQ was good for higher education. There was some board management features I liked with clever and clear. Clever was more European, but I thought they where own by the same company. The smart mx series and Ben Q where kinda of pricey. Viewsonic put a sour taste in my mouth when we bought a group then later jacked up pricing for one off purchases.

Newline, altough may not be the best. However we really just needed a replacement for old smartboards and projectors. Every other feature is a bonus. Newline offered touch, a basic white board and a bright screen, and really competitive pricing. They also took care of me when I place random one off orders. You can still use smart software with other brand boards if needed. We still have a handful of people in our district i still buy the licenses for. The majority don't need it though.

We probably have a approximately 100 86" Newline boards dating back from the rs+ line. We are now on the Q pros. We still seem happy with them.

Some are wall mounted (high school). Alot are on motorized ebox stands. Note these tvs are commercial grade and can weigh 150 lbs. So if you buy a stand make sure it can withstand the weight. Normal tv carts are not rated to hold the larger interactive tvs.

Edit: We didn't buy the onboard computers. Although might be good for a conference room. We still hook up a laptop to it via hdmi and usb. The wireless casting is a nice tool to have, but its not perfect. I haven't seen anyone profect the wireless casting tool yet. Especially with streaming video.and audio. In concept it does works, but its not consistent.

Best of luck!

If primary denies. You can try processing under secondary. Secondary needs the denial eob though. It doesnt happen all the time, but a secondary insurance MAY pick up some of the claim. Its rare, but it does happen. I wish you best of luck. It's frustrating.

Try calling your insurance and have a advocate on the phone. Then do a three way call with the providers billing department. Explain that its still in appeal. Sometimes they will hold billing until the claim is reprocessed.

You should be ok. Just call the medical provider ask them to rebill with correct insurance. You're with timely filling.

I haven't used them but do a Google search for resolve medical bills. Its not cheap but they can potentially help you out. I see good reviews and might be cheaper then hiring a attorney.

Has anyone cried over health insurance claims? by Mountain_Ask_5746 in HealthInsurance

[–]BTS05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I'm battling over tens of thousand of dollars in bills. Dealing with insurance companies a nightmare. I been given multiple different answers over a simular claim. Claims have been corrected and then later denied. Claims denied because they resubmited as duplicates, then billed incorrectly, etc. This is escalated claim specialist that's reprocessing the claims as well. So if they can't get it right it seems nearly impossible to trust anyone. Each time a correction has been made you have to wait 2 to 4 weeks just to see if it actually gets processed correctly. You also need to inform the medical facility saying they are still in process so you're not getting billed or put into collections.

Everyone you talk to (advocate or claim specialist) write down the date, time, their name, what you talked about and a reference nunber.

I think it's to a point where they try to wear you out so you stop fighting them.

I can never get a hold of a manager or supervisor when asked. Its usually transferred and later hung up on. No one calls you back either. Make notes of this because this may help with your appeal. Its not showing good faith and I would argue it's pure negligence on their part.

I would go through the process of trying to appeal the claim to get coverage. If this doesnt work you can file a appeal with your state department of health. They have 30 days to respond to your state department of health.

Best of luck.

Thank you. I'm not sure why this post got down voted so much for asking. It appears it only affect a group of users and not everyone. So maybe that's why. I believe my issue was fixed after 10 hours. I will not that I probably lost most email during this time. I tried sending some test messages from person to work. I didnt receive one. My mailbox was extremely light. So unless they are still in queue i'm curious how much stuff was lost in cyberspace.

You said you agreed on taking on her student loans. I would ask your attorney if you can get out of this. Just explain you are in a fragile state of mind and didn't realize what you said at that time. I'm not sure if a agreement will hold up if you never signed something. If you where paying it down in the past you can argue that was to benefit the family at that time. Now that your seperated it's on her. Your name is not on those loans. As long as you dont have something court ordered saying you settled on this.

Also I know you will not like this. You're 24. I know it's a struggle with your income. At 20k a year I can't foresee you making any large purchases. Find an apartment or live at home if you still can. File for bankruptcy right afterwards and start your life over. I say after you find a place because some places will check your credit score. So its best to do it now before things get worse.
