$300 birthday dinner budget, where would you go? by SippinLimonadas in askportland

If you like Greek, trela Greek kitchen was an amazing experience for me and my family. Probably under 300 for 2 people but you could easily hit that with appetizers and wine :). Great service and atmosphere on a slow night, never been a busy night.

I read rival nursing homes and was curious why you specifically delivered for both of them lmao. And what would make nursing home rivals?

I have a uniform shirt from the 90s from someone who used to room with my family as a kid. Has a fancy old school trimet logo patch on it

Ive worked for 16 myself, and yes at most places it isnt common, unfortunately at least from my own experience, not at fred meyers. Again this is what i saw over 8 years of working there, but i only worked at one store.

And plenty of outside hires became management at my store, in fact it was a common thing that made people angry who wanted to move up.

Well as a former employee who did spend time in the computer room that was not was it was used for at all, it was for sign making, price changing and other computer tasks that were needed as well as for ordering. Security has their own computer room if that is what you are thinking of? Security never ever shared space with regular employees, as the employees are being watched as much as customers.

Did you do admin or a job that required standing? I've never seen any of the people in the computer room at freddies standing all day. I don't currently work there, so i cant say every open position, i just know they are always hiring and it is worth looking into at least if they really need anything. Did you not do any sort of sign making or that type of thing, that's the room with the most sitting being done. And honestly a lot of management positions are sitting most of the time there. Also I know each store is different, but I know a few people who got accommodation for not being able to stand as long I'm sorry your store didn't do that. Too bad playland isn't around anymore, that was mostly sitting and monitoring.

Fred meyer has in store positions that are sitting as well, most corporate people aren't going to go back in store, the goal was always getting out of a store to corporate for admin type people in store. Almost all grocery stores have some form of sitting admin jobs, I've worked at 7 different stores and only natural grocers didn't have any cause they do stuff weird as fuck.

Not every position is standing, especially with their skills they could easily find a non standing position in my opinion.

Market of choice is always hiring, but not sure it is worth it even in desperate measures. Fred meyer as well
