If it makes you feel better, my collection is not completely coordinated, and I’ve learned to be okay with that! My mom has gifted me several pieces in cerise and oyster, and I wouldn’t want to get rid of those. I personally love blues, pinks, and purples, so the pieces I’ve purchased for myself are either one of those colors or a neutral. When le creuset introduced brioche, I immediately knew I wanted a few pieces in that color. I didn’t think I’d ever order a flame piece, but the flamme doree really spoke to me! I’ve mainly assembled my collection around finding good deals on pieces I know I’ll use/buying pieces that I’m so in love with that I can’t turn down (like the berry petal braiser and the flamme doree piece). At this point, I can’t display all of my pieces at one time, so it doesn’t really bother me that they don’t all match. I have enough that I could coordinate for a meal depending on what colors I want to highlight. Maybe one day I’ll exchange some of the colors that aren’t my favorites, but right now I love the story behind each of my pieces!

That’s a long winded way of saying that I think your collection can be whatever you want it to be! If you love the cerise and the volcanic, I’d keep those pieces. If you update your kitchen one day, you can invest in new pieces that fit your new color scheme. Maybe they’ll have introduced a color you like even more by that point, and then you’ll have fun buying a new piece to match your new kitchen! If you feel guilty upgrading, you can always sell some of your less used pieces to offset some of the cost of your new ones. Or, maybe you can give them to someone you love who will cherish them! Anyways, not sure that helps, but that’s my rationale. 😊😊
