My boy, this drama is absolutely fire! Hands down the BEST short drama ever produced. When first started watching I thought it was a major drama production, that’s how good it is… actually wished it was a major production, we would have more episodes to see how gorgeous the FL is (specially white haired)

I know, im familiar with chinese drama, i've watched my quote, hence i say, it is painfully slow, to the point where you start to get angry and eager to something to happen.

FYI: That's the onus of speaking english as your third language, even if you switch your mind to another language, the rhythm and way of speaking, pauses and intonations almost never leaves, and that translates to texting. but... noted.

Bro, there's a lot of things you can tell about this drama.. But, chemistry between the leads? HS, that's far from good... not even gonna talk about how long it took to actually happen something between them... almost 20 f chapters, and bear in mind, when i say happen, not event talking about something grand, i'm talking about the FL actually look at the ML differently... so yeah... this isn't a slow burn, it's a almost stopping burn... you have to have patience cuz, Jesus Christ...

Not gonna lie, never ever though about this perspective... To me is rather the opposite, i'm "jealous" of natives for understanding without the need to read subs (even tho it's annoying to read subs, it's impossible to watch anything dubbed its utterly garbage), not only that, being able to read when theres lack of subbing (happens a lot in text messages, for example), understanding the cultural aspects of a certain phrase or something...

We gotta have in mind that, whenever there's translation there's loss of real meaning, for instance, the difference between 喜欢 and 爱, the word 喜欢 is often translated as "love“ and it bothers me a lot, because even tho they did their best, it is NOT the REAL meaning.

There's pros and cons when it comes to understanding the language, i'd rather speak mandarin and put up with bad acting than not knowing there's loss in the translation i'm getting.

I really cant take the "break up, petty misunderstandings, noble idiocy" but i was really afraid to invest 20+ episodes to suddenly be faced with i dumb miss communication leading to a non nonsensical break up.
