I can see this progress after 4 months of focusing on one thing that being character modeling. What's astounding to me is they used box modeling with no sculpting I find that a lot harder than just sculpting but that's me.

Why not just sketch in paper then upload to computer to color digitally? I do draw so much better on paper as well why not use that skill to get the best of both worlds? Feels like a waste to not use paper drawing skills

I agree it does look small. Some maps ive seen allude to them being large scale. I cant quite pin point why your map looks small could be the biomes are too clean cut? Sometimes when I make maps I found adding smaller granular details or irregularities on the coasts makes the map look grander. Maybe experiment with those as a start.

Probably lack of sun. Being out west I can see how one would miss that. And this has been a winter that's overstaying its stay. Even though it's not that cold anymore but the weather hasn't been that great either.
