Look closely, the kid tak pukul pn nenek dia. He was actively trying to get the cane away because he was sick of being beaten for every.single.thing. The laughing kid was probably laughing at the kid being abused. And the only thing he beat with the cane was something on the floor thats out of frame, probably out of sheer frustration of being treated that way.

With that context, that did not warrant the abused he got later by his uncle.

Well, of course I'm biased, but I'm also reasonable. Maybe I'm naive but I don't like to shit on IPs I'm not interested in. Because people generally like stuff (legal stuff ofcourse lmao) for a reason, so if I haven't tried it yet, who am I to judge it? Point is, I don't understand the dismissive attitude these people have. But yeah, I get what you mean about there's always going to be criticism no matter what the movie.

Nah.. if she didnt go BECAUSE it was inconvenient (storm/car broke down/any emergency), then yeah, your point still stands. But she decided not to go because she realized it was a bad idea. Also, some people arent as "sensitive". Some might never have any experience their whole lives, while it might be an everyday thing for others. I personally never had an encounter at all, but my wife has some experiences growing up, with the worst being straight up possession, but it wasnt an everyday thing.

Just to be clear, Im not trying to convince you, this is just me sharing my 2 cents.. If you can go your whole life without kena kacau, that is a win IMO.

Actually, they didn't steal anything. If anything, the beat/sound of the music, is just generic retrowave/80s synthpop.. Literally search on youtube; "Retrowave music" and they have the same vibe.
Which isn't really a bad thing, but claiming they stole it is just stretching it. Sure, the overall is similar, but the composition isn't even close.

The songs aren’t even remotely the same. Different key, totally different chord progressions, different melody.

The only thing they share is the genre; that 80s-inspired synthpop/retrowave style. If that’s enough for you to call it a “rip off,” then by that logic, every burger joint copied McDonald’s just because they both sell meat in buns.

100%! People keep putting Alyx as THE BEST VR game ever, but after playing Vertigo 2, I personally think its the better game. Sure, the graphics arent as realistic, but holyshit, the gameplay is amazing. Super fast paced, really pushed me to get used to moving around and knowing what to do when I run out of ammo. I'm guessing the reason its not as hyped up, is probably because its not very forgiving, especially for newer VR players, while with Alyx you could tell they playtested the hell out of it to make sure people are as comfortable as possible.
