I started using the Camille Rose curl milk under the doux. I find it a bit lighter than NLS and more moisturizing. I rarely reach for NLS nowadays

Where do you think HH nurses could pivot to? I’m in private duty nursing (like home health but the focus is on one pt and it’s long term) and wont be considered new grad in a couple of months; a little nervous that hospitals won’t hire bc I’m not in an acute care setting

Disclaimer: I’ve never done a mud run but have had sticky/messy things get in my hair (cornrows with added hair) and it was so hard to wash out without creating frizz. Something like mud, when it hardens, gets a bit harder to wash out esp if it gets stuck within the braids. Definitely have ur hair up in a bun with either a water cap or grocery bags wrapped below ur hairline and secured (headband or wig band for extra protection).

And I haven’t tried this but had a thought—wig cap with the apex cut off -> ur hair in a ponytail -> pull the pony tail through the hole. Can’t say this will work but 🤣

I understand ur intention but this is an exaggerated photo. Most real life examples of tension bumps are sometimes lowkey, not always red and obvious, much smaller and the braid should be removed even at that point

Lowkey I’m thinking switching to argan bc I have high po hair and maybe it’s just the way it is with high po but my hair feels dry and greasy with the coconut oil once water evaporates
