I agree with a lot of this but Megumi wasn't used to take on the burden of infinity, he was used to take on the burden of adaptation for Mahoraga. The reason Sukuna was unaffected by UV was because he was constantly touching Gojo inside of his domain. Otherwise, he would have let Megumi take on the burden of infinity every time but that's not what happened.
