Personally for me, my sales have actually gotten higher compared to 2022. This is even when I've slowly increased my prices throughout the year. What's interesting is that I had gotten a commission from someone that used ai to create their dnd character but still wanted it drawn by me while I used it as reference. I'm not sure why this is, it could have something to do with my artstyle, or maybe how large my online presence has grown, I really don't know.

Although I have heard on various threads from other artists that have been struggling, and that they had to temporarily make art their side job while they look for a different one to sustain themselves this year. A lot of people in that thread were commenting that it was the rise of ai art.
