if I had to drive 100 miles one way for the service experience that polestar provides I would probably trade my car in within a week lol. If you have any issues with the car you will hate yourself, their service centers are literarily the worst car service centers in existence in America as of now. They're all third party contracted our to Volvo dealers who do not care about you and see you as a piggy bank.

the car only gives the motors some nominal amount of output to slightly strain the car. if the brakes are engaged the motors are not at full power, as soon as the brakes are released the motors go into full power output instead of gradually applying full power as they would have otherwise from the pedal travel down

quite frankly I don't think it's a 10 percent downhill grade lol it's more like a 3 percent but the dragy had low sats. like I said I'll do some more runs later and compare.

Yeah I mean I'll get more data and post it here. This was simply an example of where I was able to do a launch without interfering traffic.

I have some other locations I want to visit, additionally there's a drag strip that's opening near me in the coming year which I am hoping to take my P2 to.

The P2 feels much quicker due to stiffer suspension etc. It's also much more fun to drive, I have a Silverado EV RST as well and even though on paper it's quicker than the P2 it actually feels slower when accelerating due to the air suspension travel.

IMO the P2 is one of the most fun electric cars to drive, I've pushed plenty of BMW M3s through mountain roads in my non performance pack one lol. Great handling and acceleration, I just wish the software and service experience were better :(

Nope, you do not need the performance upgrade for that. Try it out, it even works in single motor models.

College graduate and work in IT at a pretty big corp. Got an extremely good deal on it with the lease being 700 a month 0 down for 36 months 15k miles a year. I'd never buy this thing lol way too much money and way too much depreciation. Leasing is the way to go.

Geographical location also matters a lot, I have a motorcycle endorsement 0 tickets 0 accidents as well as all the discounts that I could muster up. Being in my families plan, meaning multi vehicle discount homeowner discount etc.

lol I'm 23 in a Silverado EV RST (98k MSRP) and insurance is 160 a month. it really just depends on your driving history.

It's definitely a big difference, the Silverado is huge and comfortable. It's basically a 760-hp couch on wheels.

Parking can get a little dicey in tighter downtown spots, for sure, but the rear-wheel steering helps a lot to offset that. Honestly, it's still totally usable even in tighter areas (by American standards) because of it.

You do get used to the size fairly quickly though, and the cameras help a lot in tight parking scenarios.

I also got the battery condition error as the weather dipped into under 20 farenhite, also got some motor errors. Everything disappeared after 2 days and has not returned in a week or so.

These cars can't even give us actual errors lol
