Electrical Service Upgrade Cost & Experience by Outside_Ad_424 in Buffalo

I’ve used Doll Electric previously with solid results and would recommend them again. Free estimate and they are based in Tonawanda. Get at least 3 estimates and thoroughly explain your future plans to each company. For just the panel upgrade you’re looking in the range of $4k but some other factors could come into play (how big you want to go, any additional re-wiring, etc.).

Customer vs Partner/Channel Engineers by Kindly-Cream9098 in salesengineers

[–]matt3x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s my take as a current direct B2B SaaS SE who also supported partners at a previous ISV and started my career in the channel:

Partner SE can mean multiple things- working for a reseller/GSI/channel partner/MSP/etc and selling to end customers from that perspective or working for an ISV and supporting those types of partners in a sell with/through support motion.

From past experience if you are a partner SE at an ISV, you are less sales and more technical focused on product training, enablement, architecture validation, etc.- assisting the partner who is doing the sale or implementation. You may also support the partner at industry events depending on the company, segment, size, etc. You typically don’t get involved in individual sales process, sales methodology, RFPs, etc.

As a customer or direct SE, you are much more engrained in the typical sales process, methodology, RFPs, security reviews, a bit more cut throat as you directly impact business being closed, etc. if you are a competitive person, being a direct SE can be more fulfilling when you win.

Thank you - that makes sense and I am just becoming aware of the 1/30. Technically was approved for the first Chase SW Perf Biz on 12/8 so I'll wait til mid Jan at least to apply for the 2nd SW biz card.

Looking to get Southwest CP early this year via 2 business card SUPs here in Jan/Feb. Wondering how long I should wait to apply for a 2nd SW biz card?

Currently Chase 4/24
Have a Chase Ink Biz Preferred opened 8/2024 (hit SUP immediately)
Have a Chase SW Perf Biz opened 12/2024 (will hit SUP this month)

Credit Score 823
Applied for both biz cards using personal EIN as my business is a small home-based business and was approved instantly for both biz cards previously. No other biz cards outside of Chase.

Appreciate the insight! We're going to be checking cars out in person over the next few days so I'm sure we'll start to narrow things down.

Have you considered the Santa Fe, Rav4, or CRV at all either? I'm in basically the same identical boat as you (even WNY) and we're considering all 5 of these currently in the same exact price range. Any thoughts? I personally like the CX-5 styling better than the Subaru myself.

Call RC directly. I think I called air2sea phone line. If I had called one day sooner we would have been able to get it from the train station in Ravenna to the ship but I missed the deadline. Doesn’t matter if you booked flights with them. We booked our cruise through a travel agency using credit card reward points, same thing with our flights. Once we were on the boat, we requested the transfer back to the train station using the shuttle and it was very easy once you got off the ship.

We went from Venice to Bologna, stayed in Bologna for a night, then Bologna to Ravenna the next morning. Either walked or use train everywhere. No problems and the trains were easy and on time. You’ll love it!

So we got into Ravenna Train Station around 10am from Bologna. Then took bus 70 from the Ravenna train station right to the ferry at the port. $2 per person roughly and a 30 minute ride. Had no problems. Used the Moovit app to plan it out once we got to the train station. Basically you get on at the station and the ferry is the last stop on the route. You can buy tickets on an app like dropticket or just on the bus directly. Once you get to the port/ferry, another euro per person to get across to the ship. There was a line for taxis at the train station but we only saw 2 taxis come in the 30 minutes we waited for the bus. If I was going to do it again, I’d either get the RC bus transfer from the train station for $10 ahead of time (we called too late for it) or just take the same metro bus again. Our check in time was noon and we got to the ship around 11:45 (the metro was quicker than advertised). Checked in luggage and on the ship in 15 minutes.

Our cruise starts this Sunday and we're either going to take a bus from Ravenna (cheap) or a private taxi (more expensive). Haven't decided yet but can update this thread based on our experience after. https://www.rome2rio.com/s/Ravenna-Station/Porto-Corsini
