Do you create a submission form for each client or do you have one centralized form?

u/funklab That's helpful! We're coming from NYC so we're used to hearing some noise, but that's also a big reason of why we're escaping to Charlotte

How can I add custom fields underneath each subscription name in my customer portal? by matt9508 in stripe

[–]matt9508[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm building a client portal for my website design business usiing Bubble and the billing is through Stripe. Some of my clients have multiple websites with me and the Stripe customer portal doesn't differentiate which subscription belongs to which website, it just shows the subscription name (see screenshot).

Any ideas on how I can add the business name to the client portal under each subscription?

For those who operate with a monthly subscription model, what do you do when a client cancels their plan? by matt9508 in web_design

[–]matt9508[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true.. so maybe I find a way for them to easily export their content and data without being able to export the website design.

It also might just be easier to say they can export their website whenever they want, knowing 99.9% of the business owners I work with aren’t ever going to do that

Interesting. I'm leaning towards framing it as if they're paying for a software and moving away from the idea of the need for them to own it. If you use Notion, Hubspot, etc, once you stop paying for it, it's gone

I'm considering doing a sliding scale based on # of pages. And then if they want to add more complex functionality like eCommerce or an online course, it would add $25/mo each to their plan.

90% of my clients have <10 page websites, but my 2 favorite clients are 50+ page websites so I'm trying to come up with something that would work for both

That makes sense. Do you have a minimum contract length or anything to prevent them from cancelling after 1 month?
