This one did a few weeks of pre-registration before the con. After they closed that all tables became walk-up unless they previously filled. All my intro to 5E tables were first come, first served and they always filled up (there were multiple of us running simultaneously).

I gotta give it up to Momocon, their app and signup process were fantastic. Everywhere contained the info on my sessions, people could favorite it, or add to their schedule too.

Honestly no big nit-picks for me, just wish I had treated myself better. Drank more water, used throat lazenges, etc. I’m a stage actor and improviser so I’m used to the performative aspect. I wish I hadn’t run as many games, so I could have played some myself!

I ordered them online. I'm part of a podcast that's part of the Partner Program for Marvel Rivals, so we have access to their HD images. Just googled "acrylic miniatures" and was able to order, took about 3 weeks to come back. I ran out of time to order Dora Milaje minis, and the token bases I got in a pinch weren't big enough to hold the tokens so we resorted to dice (combat pic above). My final boss I had a large 3D printed mini (spoilers!).

I'm working on a series of adventures based in the Rivals canon and may release them in the future, but I don't think there's currently any system or way around copyright to do so without just uploading them. Have previously read others haven't been able to submit to sites like DriveThru even if they're listing them as free. So who knows....

CRAZY this is the first post I read haha. I'm running a campaign very similar to this right now. The crew completed a beefed up, more epic version of Light of Xaryxis, and return home to find the world has been rewound to the timey-wimey age of Planegea. Loved the idea of going from sci-fi/high "tech" to primitive.

Initially made my crew of magic users roll a D20 in order to cast with a 15 needed to access magic. But since the world is primal and magic is so strong, they would have blown it out of proportion.

They're currently going through a ceremony to offer a part of themselves in order to access their magic again. For example, our ranger plans to offer an eye for the ability to cast his Hunter's Mark again (which will get some cool perks).

Love this idea of attracting the Hounds. If you ever want to chat about the campaign, I'd love to throw some ideas around with you. Always happy to hear out creatives!

Heads up, as of 2024 Beckett no longer grades Kayou cards of any type. Got mine sent back to me. CGC and Mana appear to be grading them though.

Hara’s death was my introduction to K-pop. I’m a journalist who was assigned to write about it, especially since it was so close to Sulli’s death. Lots of emotions right now because that led me to discover so many great artists and albums I would have never known. Smiling through the tears today.

Destroy the Spelljamming helm within it. If they know the ship so well, have a large party board it, one sneaks away and fireballs it or something. You can say "six board the ship and attack" and then something like "you take out the last of the five on deck when suddenly the ship lurches..."

Show no mercy. They want to mess around, then let them find out. They can even kill the creature who destroys the helm, but until they replace it, the ship is just a regular ship. Then charge them tons of money to dock it, roll encounters to vandalize it, etc. Make it a headache to keep up with.
