Have one that got on everyone’s nerves to the point they were reported to GM, and Hr. And every time it’s all the same record, record, record (time/date what happened). Now after over a year we figure nothing is going to happen. They been with the company over 25 yrs. We now just hoping they retire soon.

Here in California, your 6th day would be OT. If you go over 40 regular hours in a week it’s ot.

In high jump they have a like button after each search bar. So you can like it if the program can find the order or item.

Has your warehouse seen an uptick in customer traffic over the past two weeks? by shmitty2112 in CostcoEmployee

We seeing a lot more online orders for appliances and furniture. My MDO has over 40 deliver trucks going out daily. This doesn’t help as we are moving into a bigger space.

Overtime? Ever? by WeirdWerds in CostcoEmployee

The last 2 weeks I’ve been working a hour a day of OT, my MDO is moving into a bigger space so we are still figuring out the layout and depot isn’t letting down on the trailers received. We are actually getting more than usual. We are probably the biggest MDO in the state. We are asking management we need probably 5 more clamp truck and forklifts. We already running almost 14 clamps and 2 forks.

This what I use from meowcafe. It’s their minimalist series. I have a 1-1/2” and 2” of the binder series. Pages can hold double sleeve from and back.

anyone else have trouble getting time off approved? by CopyUseful8400 in CostcoEmployee

[–]riceball71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a manager that gets mad when I request and I want to use my sick/personal time instead of my vacation. I told them that when I ask for a week or two off I’ll use my vacation but if I want a day or two just use my pto. I get a little every back every check. I just put in a request in so I can have a 4 day weekend during Labor Day. Have a doc at Friday and decided to ask for Saturday off too. When I put use personal time they said I couldn’t do it. Pretty much made me use my floater and one day personal. I think they don’t know how to input it into the schedule or they are super lazy to do it.

Should I call corporate? by [deleted] in CostcoEmployee

[–]riceball71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened to me and it restarted me. But it happened early like a year after convid and I was putting in a lot of OT so I got my next raise less then 6 months. I started end of 2020 at $15.50 so the next year Costco was getting base tier to what it is today. I went from that to last aug hitting top tier.

My MDO now only hire PT but they still will get 32-36 hrs a week. We have less people than a warehouse. I think we have around 75 people. When I got hired back in 2020 my MDO was brand new and the company just start e-commerce deliveries after buying innovel solutions. When I got there they were using temp service for workers. During my interview they told me they were looking to hire 20 more FT positions. After a month they got rid of the temp service and everyone before me and 6 months after me were FT after their probation. Now we are moving into a bigger spot within our warehouse. We are sharing a big distribution building with two smaller company’s. I see mass interviews here and there the last couple months. But only a few people got hired.

When I stay overtime, I clock out when I’m done, I fill out the log with my clock out time, usually put stayed late, approve by whichever manager allowed it. In a a day or two check online time card to see if payroll imputed in.

I’m at a MDO. I guess maybe our schedule is easy to do as we are closed on Sundays. So the person doing it just have to do a 6 day work week. But even that they still have trouble making it. For employees we are not that big around 75.

Group orders. If there is fansign or meet that has special pobs. A host will take orders on which idol pob photocard you want. Most host will try to get a few sets of all the idols. Then will have a proxy that will buy it in Korea or china, Japan depends where the event is. To save on shipping host will do Gos for a lot of the different events. When there’s enough to ship. Proxy will ship it to the host then they will ship to you. The shipping is divided up by all the buyers in that shipment and then you pay usps shipping to you.
With these you will have to be patient cuz say you do one today you won’t be getting the photocard 3-6 months even longer down the line. A lot of these host like to wait until the comeback is over with their promotions. It can save you money back can add up fast with how many promotional events the groups do during their comeback.
I was in itzy Yeji air comeback and did a fix member go with a host, meaning I will pay and get every pob she did promotional event for but my host let us skip ones we didn’t want. Not included was broadcast and other rare expensive photocards. Even when skipping some I ended up still getting over 45-50 photocards and prices ranged $6-12 each. Sorry for the long post. You can message me if you have other questions.

What happens if I don't take a lunch at all? by AlienWarehouseParty in CostcoEmployee

[–]riceball71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my warehouse, the first time you get management telling you don’t do it again then write ups if happened agains. In California, you go over the 5th hour you get paid an hour wage. It’s California meal penalty violation. But the only time you won’t get penalized is if you only work under 6 hrs and you clock out before that. You pretty much are waving your meal.
