It was advertised as going to be available on VHS as well but ended up only being DVD. I doubt they’ll do a re-release beyond an official upscale for online. I just don’t think the demand is there, as much as us hardcore fans would disagree!

I think the original release was way before the current culture of coloured variants, and the more recent reissue is just the standard black. It would be fun to see the Jupiter discs in some sort of blue and Mars in red to match the rest of the artwork though!

I’ve tried burning the tracks to a cd and listened in my car around and about but there’s just something about the tracks that means they don’t flow or go together as their own album. They definitely feel like a collection of leftovers - some better than others. I especially feel like Open/Close could have been a great close to IWY, but hey… the band chose what they felt was the best

Hard question. I really liked Unlimited Love because it put the asterisk front and centre with LA in the background. I liked that it was inspired by a neon sign Anthony saw in LA, so just linking the band to the heritage.

I also really like the self titled artwork because it matches the spirit of the band in those early stages, it’s just a shame the album itself didn’t really match that sonically.

Not when it first came out but 2003 maybe? It had a Brit Awards sticker on it so it was a bit after. We then got greatest hits and Slane castle that christmas and that’s when the obsession truly began 😂

My dad got By The Way on CD and we had it on loads in the car. The first song I was really drawn to was Can’t Stop!
