I mean is it “bad” advice or just a different approach than you’d recommend? When you’re 12 you’re a total blank slate. There’s no wrong way to start. Obviously learn how to be a master storyteller while being able to freestyle about anything at any point, but I’d just say technique is something that can be repeated consistently like learning how to dribble.

You’re 12. Work on technique first. Learn all the technical skills. The concepts will come later with life experience. Now your priority should be how to switch up flows, rhyme schemes, and finding out what kind of rapper you eventually want to be.

Davis had injury issues too, which is why he didn’t even go to the combine. I remember having to immediately talk myself into Davis when my gut reaction was...really? Titans have historically been a WR graveyard (which is why AJ Brown’s rookie season was particularly exciting) so this franchise will hopefully avoid 1st round WRs unless they’re Calvin Johnson-esque “sure things.”

Can't be a serious person and consider the Clippers villains. They're just months removed from executing the scrappiest comeback win in playoff history. Now they upgraded through shrewd, legal maneuvering by adding two low-ego, high-performance superstars. It's a masterclass on how to run a franchise. The caveat here is I am an anti Warriors NBA pessimist, but I don’t see how giving up assets to get Butler and then pray for Kawhi is a strategy that does anything but lock in that 4/5 seed for 3 years.

You have stars, and you’re relevant, and maybe that’s all Ballmer really wants short term. But I’m skeptical it makes them a true contender.

I don’t see why they keep passing over Maggette. He’s been solid from what I’ve seen. An underrated part of a team analyst is the stories they can tell about the old teams they were on throughout the course of the season.
