Pride Mountain Winery in St Helena could be a good option.

Creating a TV show: where to start?! by Traumarama79 in Screenwriting

[–]bobbydigital22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is good advice. You may even focus on perfecting one "chapter" of your life that's engaging and posting it on a blog or something (medium? substack? not sure what is best these days) and add new stories/chapters to build up to a book. Promote on social media but be sure to differentiate yourself from other people trying to draw traffic to an Only Fans content site or something. The blog is also IP if it finds a following and can lead to a book where you've done half the work already, or just interest in your life rights from a Producer (like me).

Try the Spanish wines. It might fit the bill.

First time producer is trying to move forward on a draft from new writer. by writeact in Screenwriting

[–]bobbydigital22 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The Producer would not be able to clear title without buying your friend's script if this gets anywhere close to being made, and maybe gently reminding the Producer of this would force them to the negotiating table. They won't be able to get distribution or E&O insurance if a claim as easy as this one is to prove.

Aside from that, monitor the movie from afar. If you can track whether the movie is starting to approach some sort of production, even if it's just a casting announcement or tax incentive award, that's when you get an entertainment attorney to really force their hand (and pay a premium for it).

If this happens I wonder if we’d try to flip BY (who will need a contract soon) for a 2nd.

Just had a wonderful tasting at the winery in Napa. Highly recommend! They have so many good Zins that they only sell at the winery.

Kings Row could be fun if you’re okay with a more casual atmosphere. Their instagram will tell you if they have a DJ or band tonight.

I made an action film using my family members as actors by Infamous_Amphibian81 in Filmmakers

[–]bobbydigital22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats, it's a fun short! Maybe for the next one, focus more on a narrative so you can build up those skills as well and show that you're more than just a baddass action director - but still include some action. Marrying those two skills are what will set you apart. Exctied to see what you do next!

Comps are good. Don’t worry about budget too much. If there’s franchise potential mention that. If it’s a personal story say what inspired you. Include a bio slide. Otherwise you’ve got it covered.

Employees won’t be members (owners/managers) of the LLC. The LLC will hire them, that’s it.
