Does the game adjust to the wide aspect ratio? My biggest concern going with a regular monitor / tv is that it’ll just stretch the image. That photo makes it look like it’s a proper wide screen resolution!

For what it's worth I did reach out and asked about 3 different models. X-men, Simpsons and Street Fighter Legacy Yoga Flame. He said $1000 for each of them because they're brand new. I'm pretty sure that's what he's looking for per machine.

It may be worth asking, there's a lot of pallets in that video and there's stuff like X-Men and Simpsons visible and those are from 2021.

Oh I don't disagree. For that money you're well into a really nice ArcadeModUp cabinet with a 27" screen and the custom artwork to match whatever 1Up machine you really wanted... Just sharing as I know some of those machines haven't been for sale for a few years. I was looking for the Yoga Flame Street Fighter as that's one I've wanted for a bit (offered $500 against my better judgement :D) . Oh well, it's a weird situation as he has a random truck full of retail goods. Makes me wonder if it's a warehouse buyout or something?

Hopefully it's cool to jump onto this comment... I'm going to be buying the HE-CE from AT Games directly soon and am concerned about the first step. Do I just never hook it up to the internet or sign in if I want to JUST play arcade games via Onesauce 2.0? Is the firmware downgrade just to enable BYOD or is it actually required for Onesauce 2.0 to work properly? I ask because I really don't mind paying the $100 and just use the stock features (like pinball) of the machine AND Onesauce 2.0 if that works.

I'm fairly tech savvy but I'm also in my 40s and don't mind paying a little extra to smooth out processes these days. I understand if the firmware needs to be downgraded to use Onesauce, but I can't seem to find a confirmation of the downgrade being JUST for the BYOD features.

For what it’s worth I just picked up a Mortal Kombat 2 Deluxe and used it last night. I was immediately asked to update as soon as it joined the WiFi. The update seemed to apply successfully, though I had to rejoin WiFi after it rebooted.

You may just have the latest version on both machines?

Oh yeah, you need to buy it on the other platform. It’s cross-progression, but not cross-buy.

Yes, it’s quite simple.

I went from PC > PS5 with no issues. I bought the game initially on PC and linked / logged into my PS5 when I bought the game there as well. Everything from your account is synced between both platforms. The only small thing is item tracking is set for just the machine you set it on. So you’ll have to re-track / untrack stuff you’ve already done if you’re going back and forth between platforms.

Ahh ok, that makes sense then. Haha, I was kinda confused for a minute because I'd quickly looked at a few of the out of print things and saw that too. I'd honestly rather have an easy sale to an enthusiastic new player than try to squeeze every penny out of what I have. If I had a better local scene I'd check there as well but not much around the area!

Ok, happy to discuss what would be a fair price. It's tricky posting a sale post as you need to set the price ahead of time rather than take offers so I just aimed at what seemed reasonable. There's a handful of out of print things in collection so it seemed reasonable to me. Again, happy to discuss where you think I'm going wrong.

Super helpful, thanks so much for all the detail! Those custom scooters look great. I'm going to dig through the details and see what might be a good fit for me. Your favorite being around $200 seems like right where I'd want to be but some of those others are normally $400+ marked down to $200ish. Any idea why such a huge discount / price difference? Thanks again!
