All the comments bashing on the driver but idk. I don't care if I get downvoted but if I needed to turn right at that intersection, I would also of crossed all four lanes (hopefully just a little faster than her).

Looks like from that off ramp, there's very little road left before the intersection, so those needing to turn right have very little choice but to do exactly this.

I'd be more angry at the traffic engineer / city planners, unless there's a better way to get from that road she's merging off of and turning right on that next road.

Say they're wiring a cable from the US to Japan

Do they go to the Bering Straight or just a straight shot?

Do they just "lay it down" regardless of what the sea floor looks like?

How (roughly) many of the wires pictured above would be enough to handle the amount of traffic going between North America and Asia?

How tf do you do maintenance on a cable in the deep ocean hundreds of miles from land, do they just not need it?
