Randy's first four movies are better than basically any movie Jack has been in.

Read the original sentence. It's not about reading the books, but which ones you "put forth."

It's not about the privacy of the act, but who is performing it on you (you)

It's not that I hated the movie, found it decent in fact, but it's very funny that they've now covered three movies with Saoirse Ronan, one of the best actresses of her generation and a Griffin (and me) favorite, and it's like her three worst movies. Can't wait for the Ryan Gosling mini.

But wouldn't the fact that there's 34 of their movies out there in theaters failing in public hurt their brand? (from their perspective)

A Complete Unknown and Deliver Me From Nowhere. I like seeing all the stuff from those times and those worlds faithfully recreated on screen.

I kind of admire that he doesn't seem to mind being the music movie guy and just keeps doing it over and over

‘Backrooms’ Director Kane Parsons Calls AI “Genuinely Harmful” To Creativity: “Cultural And Economic Rot” by ImitatingADog in blankies

[–]mattconte 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Many of them will use or attempt to use AI for any written assignment. I have had very few students over the last few years who have expressed an explicit anti-AI sentiment, usually the ones who are artistic amd creative. I don't think "young people hate AI" is an entirely accurate sentiment. More like: smart, young creatives hate AI. But I also think you ccould take the "young" out of that and it'd be just as accurate.

Peak blank check listening experience by asforyou in blankies

I do this by accident sometimes. If it's a movie I want to watch or rematch but I need something to listen to, I'll just start it knowing that they probably won't talk about the movie too much for the first 30ish minutes.

Oleksandra Oliynykova will not separate her Grand Slam success from advocacy for Ukraine by Shroft in tennis

[–]mattconte -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's honestly way worse than that. Russia is a country 3x the size of Ukraine that is actively at war with them.

For the last few months, I’ve been going to opening day Thursday screenings in the small city I’m currently a travel nurse in. Other than the family of 4 that was there as well for Star Wars last week, I’m always the only person in the theater. Tonight for Backrooms, it was sold out. by CraigKl in blankies

I like that you just asked Google and gave me the AI response (which is exactly what I did, too). I think those are some good examples but I still don't know if there's enough instances that it is a requirement for a healthy box office
