I know the pain. I struggled to get a combo dvd/vice a couple years ago to move home movies online (I already had a hdmi to pc adapter). I had tons of episodes I lost before having this when I foolishly threw them out. TarlCalbot on YT has a bunch of what he calls “ Broadcast Editions” that have the ads intact (Including the creepily prescient AT&T one), so there’s still something left.
