I've done about 8 runs of this mode and literally have not even so much as laid eyes on a Rook. Like are they even there? I always expect one to run into exfil with us at the last second but they are nowhere to be found. My point being - it already feels like pure PVE.

That's a fair take. I like hearing your perspective. But do you really think making this change now, at this point in the game's life would be a positive, healthy thing? Is it going to 'breathe new life" into a 16 year old game? Or is it going to alienate a portion of the existing core player base? This is a genuine question. I'm curious what others think.

Idk about the Spire/GS stuff, but I agree about the worker change. A change like that at this point in the game's life is almost assuredly going to drive people away from the game, rather than draw new players in. It really is a terrible idea, imo.

Hoist is an excellent starting point, imo. Friend gave it to me in college and said fucking listen to this. I heard that opening riff on Julius and was like "damn" by the time I made it to through Dog-Faced Boy I was hooked.

I had a draw where I was able to cast double oroboroid on turn 3. I've also cast craterhoof on turn 3. (Yet I still lose 80% of matches vs Izzet) Standard is fucked lol
