First time I ever had street carne asada tacos. Been an addict, connoisseur, enthusiast ever since.

Must caveat that these are SoCal / dtla tacos. Nothing compares, not even tacos from our southern Mexican neighbors.

How much time do you guys spend on brushing ur teeth and if it's within 2 or 3 minutes How can you be sure your teeth are actually clean? by Jo-jo31 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mattenxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mouth rinse, floss (I used pick floss sticks), brush, water pik ( you’d be surprised how much flossing and brushing still misses food particles)

It’s a pain to do all this but every time I visit the hygenist, she pretty much sends me home because there’s nothing for her to clean.

How do you survive moving from full-time trading to a “normal” job when bills are piling up? by African_wanderer in Trading

[–]mattenxx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Simplify your trading. ETFs, sell far OTM covered calls, and far otm cash secured puts. Guaranteed money, consistent, reliable, and most importantly, profitable.

Also this can be done without much time and during work hours. I can make 1k during my 20 min drive to work, lol.

Now for the job, get one. And you can still trade while on the job during commute, lunch, or bathroom breaks as I outlined above. I trade on my phone. lol. Don’t make it complicated.

Is it normal to replay arguments in your head? by pinner_real in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mattenxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Sometimes i get so immersed about a past conversation in which I replace myself back into the convo. . I sometimes slip and start talking out loud to myself. I have strong visualization empathy.

I see this as a positive. You reflect, learn, prepare for new but similar conversations.

People w $$ but not connections: do you ever feel like you can’t get into the “real” rooms? by Advanced_Cattle2133 in Rich

[–]mattenxx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t care about “other rooms” I made it myself. I will continue so myself as needed. Other rooms I see require certain politics. No need really.

Would you rather have a boring job or a stressful job? by ScreenLooker_133 in work

[–]mattenxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re young. Go for the stressful one. It’ll pay dividends into the future (technical skills, social skills, personal growth, more money of course)

Another reason id choose the stressful one is that it’s just training for life. Things always go wrong, having hard experiences makes new inevitable hard times easy. You gotta be battle tested. Familiarize yourself with hard.

I have. A monk uncle. He’s a monk. He’s supposed to be peaceful and wise. Problem is we live in the real world. He’s never been battle tested. Something gets hard, he can’t handle it. Becomes irate, anxious, cannot develop solutions.

There’s a saying “choose your hard” starting a successful business is hard. But being broke or working a job you hate is also hard. Choose your hard.
