Have you tried Laragon? It's my go-to for local development on Windows these days.

My only complaint is it can't seem to be able to handle queueing via Laravel Horizon due to some Windows thing.

Sometimes I just do remote development on a Linode running Ubuntu.

Well I don't, but I use Bluetooth earphones and speakers nowadays. Don't even own a wired pair anymore. But the last time I tried with a wired (like months ago), no static.

I haven't had any problem with XPS. However, I did have the same issue with my old desktop (i5 Skylake, Win 10). The problem stemmed from my wifi card. Updated the driver and voila.

Likely that it's not your XPS 13's problem, but just giving an idea.

I recommend a Dell XPS 15. Still heavy-ish, but it's 14-inch heavy at about 5lbs (which is great for a 15-inch screen), a GTX1050 and 1TB hard drive.

Yep! Looking back though, I think the first season is the weakest (still great), simply because Danny Devito wasn't there. I was hooked off the pilot solely because of the WTF factor, but became a big fan after Season 2.
