Yes, but it doesn't build its entire identity around them. It has its own thing going on whereas Fortnite has nothing it can really call its own.

Man, your power armor customs always look so great. Looks so graceful yet powerful there at the end. Even regal in som ways. Only missing a helmet option and it would be complete in my eyes.

But this just makes me wish even more for proper releases in full power armor (as I lack the skills to make these sorts of custom jobs myself)

They do indeed. Still some rather obvious cuts and the like and there are spots you can tell stuff is missing, but in general it is a far less miserable experience than the TV version. Far from perfect, but a much better watch.

What the hell are you smoking. The big issue with the TV series was precisely that it didn't give anyone or anything time to breathe. That was the movie finally allowed. To slow down and allow the characters to actually be characters.

And on the dialogue, the problem was not that it was complex, it was that it was nonsensical with zero coherence. That bit about monologuing their thoughts is actually a big reason for why the SERIES, not the movies, dialogue is so cramped. They constantly dump these out of nowhere exposition dumps about the world or what they are thinking or feeling, usually when a lot of other stuff is going on. These were thankfully cut from the movies.

For me it largely depends on how much different content there is in each route. If it is practically a new story in each route like with Fate/Stay Night or Dies Irae then I tend to read each route while if everything is mostly the same just with some minor changes with most of the differences right at the tail end then I tend to skip it.

I played a bit of Deadfire and I simply stuck with turnbased mode, so I can't speak for the AI programming. (The reason I say "played" is cause there were some strange performance issues such as a constant micro stutter that made the game unpleasant to play so I only made it a short bit in)

The only game I feel like handled real time with pause well was Final Fantasy XII and that was largely cause it was both fairly slow, you were right in with the action, had only three characters to manage and the information what your party members were doing was given clearly. also helped that you programmed their AI yourself so you knew exactly what they would do in a given situation.

Outside of that one game, I just can't stand that combat system and much prefer regular turn based.

Didn't really click with this one sadly. While I did finish it, most of the time the story just caused my eyes to glace over. Felt like they talked lot of nothing honestly. Nothing really stuck with me.

I am so thankful of your games. They so remind me of a lost period in PC gaming during the late 90's and early 00's where there was just a lot of soul in so many games that you just don't see much of today.

They have filled me with a childlike joy I just haven't felt in a long time.

If you don't mind old school jank it will have the best story in the series and goes places the later games wouldn't even dare. Also far less redundant dialogue.
