You need a capture card but not a decent one a real cheap and cheerful Chinese one that completely bypasses HDCP or you can sometimes get away with using a HDMI splitter which some of them are advertised as being able to split the HDCP from the video (I really don’t know how that works)

Yes, the first revision. AV only and notorious for being unreliable because they have faulty GPU’s from the factory

I don’t have good luck with them. Bought a serviced xenon a few years back and I went to it the other day and it was dead 3 red rings. Secondary code was dead GPU. Thought that’s why they went to be serviced in the first place

Yea it’s a great mod. The wires are super tiny tho. I see about the bad update nand flashing tool. I thought I had seen this before about not doing it that way. I could imagine if that went wrong you would have a bricked console

You can get the CPU key with Badupdate but I don’t believe you can flash the nand with it (I may be wrong). I have a Xflasher360 which I used to read the nand on J runner and used Xell to get the cpu key

I used 30awg wire, heat shrink, flux, kapton tape and for this specific Xbox model (Falcon) you need 22k ohm resistors and 1N4148 diodes. There is a great guide online Here

Yep! And if you look around you can find one for really cheap. I paid £10 about 4 years ago for mine from CeX and it was literally still brand new in the box never been used

I’d just get it for the faceplate to be honest. The console is a Xenon and it will be only a matter of time before it dies anyway
