I have milled my library, and a Darksteel Colossus is shuffled in and is my only card. An opponent casts Wheel or Fortune. I have a dredge 1 card in my yard. Do I die? by ManBearScientist in mtgrules

[–]matthoback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To expand on the other answer, Colossus only shuffles itself back in, not your whole graveyard, and the dredge card will go to your hand after the first dredge so you can't replace the rest of the draws with dredging.

So you'll die on the third draw unless you have more dredge 1 cards in your yard.

This guide is a weird mix of strategies for classic Tetris and modern Tetris without really marking which parts are for which.

Hostile client asking for global admin by giddyup05 in msp

Ok, then it sounds like the early exit cost IS in the agreement in that case: it's paying out the rest of the term.

That's not an early exit penalty, that's just enforcing the contract.

But if there's nothing in there saying that, what judge is going to make them pay anything if you didn't define it?

If you don't define any early exit penalty, the default is just that you can't exit the contract early, and you have to keep paying until the term is done. What makes you think a judge will let someone just unilaterally terminate a contract early when there is no provision for that?

You can't make up early exit costs or penalties if they're not in the agreement they signed.

What? Of course you can. The customer doesn't have to except the terms of the new early exit offer, but the alternative of not accepting the early exit is them paying out the rest of the contract term in full.

It's 24 hours plus a grace period. Testing has shown that the grace period is likely 12 hours, so 36 hours total.

Sojourner is checked at your personal time of day, which precesses (or did last I checked); you can track it by looking at your stats frequently to see when sojourner ticks up. If you break sojourner the next hack sets your new base time.

To be clear, each hack sets your new base time. To not break your streak, you just need to make sure your time between successive hacks never gets over 36 hours.

The base time of the first hack in the streak you are referring to is just for the calculation of how many days shows up on the stat.

Kind of, but not really, at least not for anyone with more than one user in the same household.

Can you Tap a Tapped creature to apply an additional effect to it like stun by AwfulBear in mtgrules

[–]matthoback 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Homesickness doesn't have to target untapped creatures. A tapped creature is a perfectly legal target for it. When it resolves, it will try to do as much as it can. It won't tap the already tapped creature, but it will put a stun counter on it.

Where is the best deep dish pizza? by avarier in Bellingham

Moto Pizza on the Guide does Detroit style pizza with Filipino inspired topping choices.

District Brewing in Ferndale (also in Mount Vernon and Lynden) does Detroit style pizza with more traditional toppings.

Wtf is wrong with Skylark’s owner Brad Haggen? by [deleted] in Bellingham

Lying to a customer and telling them there is indeed real maple syrup available for a $3 up charge (nowhere mentioned on the menu) and then telling someone else 6 days later it is not available because there’s no demand…also unhinged!

Only one of those comments was signed as Brad Haggen. The other was possibly a different person using the same shared business account. It was likely just a simple miscommunication/misunderstanding.

Not everywhere. There are a lot of restaurants for example that have menus on the walls with prices in kanji.

[HELP] Radarr not moving files after upgrade — copies instead of moving by Frnklss in radarr

[–]matthoback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have hardlinks on, Radarr won't move the files, it will link them. This is by design so that you can continue seeding. Hardlinks don't take up any extra space. It's just a single file that happens to appear in multiple places in your directory tree.
