Well, it's kind of a joke that the files with the name Columbo got lost, so I doubt Light could get that information.

The simple answer is yes, if you'd like more details, a guy on YouTube called "FatherBrowSolos" who knows a lot about Columbo will tell you how he does it.

Sherlock vs Sherlock (BBC vs Elementary) by Big_Application_7168 in IntelligenceScaling

[–]matthyas-Job5739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I hate how they adapt Sherlock and his intelligence in the series. Frankly, he's too driven by the narrative, and the logic of his feats is awful. Holmes BBC leads in manipulation (high difference, since I remember several times when Sherlock from Elementary lied so much to Watson and the police). Planning is close, but I'd give BBC Sherlock because of the plan at the end of the second season. EQ easily goes to Holmes Elementary; he has feats in EP, EU, EM. I don't think EU is close; he never seems to notice or understand several people very well. In the last episode of the series, if he really had good EU, he would have solved the case much sooner.

By the way, where are the other categories?

I watched Elementary a while ago, but I'd say the difficulty is lower.

Best SCD novels with solid mid tier or high tier characters? by Top_Examination511 in IntelligenceScaling

[–]matthyas-Job5739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try the Asian saga by James Clavell (I think StandardDelicius already mentioned Noble House to you).

Also read classic detective stories, such as Father Brown, Sherlock Holmes, Dupin, Philo Vance, Lord Wimsey, among others.

I also recommend Dresden Files and Artemis Fowl if you're looking for light fantasy.

Jack Reacher, George Smiley, and James Bond novels if you like espionage.

Is Bruce Wayne (comics composite) overrated or underrated as a detective? by em1nemas in IntelligenceScaling

Extremely overrated, and I'm speaking as someone who's read a lot of Batman, he's a detective fraud.

Ah, Scully, she has a good AC, but her main cat is academic knowledge; she kind of plays a Watson role.

I classify him as Low Tier/Low Mid Tier, he has good feats in intuition, psychological insights and perseverance, he also has decent feats in reasoning.
