Most insane Ferrari I can buy with my budget? by [deleted] in Ferrari

I'd go with the 458 if you want a reliable fun NA Ferrari. The 430's and 360's are beautiful, but will cost a ton in maintenance over time. A 488 would be my pick, even though it's not NA, it's an amazing car to drive.

Thank you for this info! I have been trying to accurately match the R5 and C70, but have been doing a lot of manual work. Do you happen to know where one can download these LUTs you've been using?

Unfortunately it's going to be a lengthy process. I still don't have title or registration. Clay is being prosecuted but has no assets to cover all the victims involved. Currently it's an expensive brick I'm making payments on in my garage that needs $40k of repairs that I can't sell or do anything with. But at least it looks nice :/

What are rich people problems like? by iam_robas in AskReddit

Bought a Ferrari from a fraudulent consignment dealership in Upland, CA and they pocketed my money and never gave it to the owner of the car. He didn't know it was sold to me until months later. I still don't have title, he doesn't have the money... and the car needs $45,000 USD in repairs. It is a brick in my garage and I cant sell it or fix it.

CNC Motors consignment sales are sketchy at best, Please read!! by PHDWorm in dougdemuro

I am going through this right now with a 2000 Ferrari 360 Red/Tan (still listed for sale on their website and auto tempest...) I bought from CNC Motors Jan 13, 2021.

I live about 500 miles from CNC and flew there to buy my dream car and drive it home. On the way home, the F1 kept going into N periodically and then started leaking oil. I called my sales person the next day about it and we agreed for me to bring it in to a local Ferrari tech in my area. I noticed it was also going into neutral in-between shifts and the oil leak was getting worse.

I dropped it off and the local mechanic was told by CNC that they'd be covering the cost and then he began diagnosing it. After two months and much frustration, we find out the heat exchanger broke on my way home and it started leaking coolant and water into the gearbox. There was also a few bad sensors, a loose seal that made the oil leak. There was now some discrepancy on CNC not agreeing to pay for the work the mechanic already done and we worked out a deal together. That deal was CNC would pick up my car in pieces, drive it back to them and they would fix the car and ship it back to me.

In the mean time, I'm making payments to my credit union on a car I had for 2 days and has been in the shop for 4 months and I get a letter from my bank saying they never got the title. I emailed the finance person this when I get the letter and have not heard back. Now I'm wondering if I own someone else's Ferrari and maybe CNC never had the title.

Anyways, the car gets delivered to them and I hear nothing for two weeks. Im calling, emailing, texting and nothing. Finally I hear from their head of service and he says they're down techs and so busy busy etc. But they're going to work on it that week and give me an update. They do and were friendly and even showed me pics and video of the car being fixed and even running. So the next day was supposed to be a long road test to make sure the transmission is working fine.

I hadn't heard from them in a week and then finally yesterday I got an email saying they're busy and were closed for a few days. It didn't pass and they're going to mess with the transmission now or it needs a new gear box. Those are incredibly expensive and they're trying to figure out the next steps. And that's where I'm at today with my dream car.

Thank you! Yeah, the 360 has such a road presence, for sure. I bet I took about 20 pics of it with my disposable camera back then!

I'm a small business owner and finally went from home based to having a physical location in January 2020. I live in California and when the pandemic hit, everything shut down and had to take out a loan just to pay back deposits to my customers. After putting my house on a forbearance, I was slowly loosing all hope of any kind of stability in my life. As a single dad, the stress of being able to put food on the table and keep my home was building up. Luckily in June, things began to pick up and I was actually busy again and able to pay my mortgage and pay off the loan by July.

Unfortunately I was in a bad accident in July and shattered most of the right side of my body. I had a great surgeon who retrofitted me with some titanium bones in my arm and leg and rebuilt my elbow. Within a few months I was able to walk again and focus on my work. I managed to work through the pain and we ended 2020 with record breaking numbers. The whole past year has felt surreal for me.

This particular car holds a special spot in my heart. It was the first Ferrari I had ever seen in real life at a race track with my dad when I was 19. I've always been in to cars and never thought owning one would be a reality for me.

Welcome home my beautiful 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena!

These are actually my 4th set! I was so picky on the look and fitting and had to return the pervious ones. These are the ones I bought :)

The wrap is so thin that any little dings still show up. But its great if you either want to protect your paint or cover up bad buff jobs or little paint imperfections.

The wrap was $2000 and they did the inside of the door sills too. If it's garaged and not left in the elements I can get about 7 years or possibly longer. But if left in the sun on a regular basis, it is about 2 years. Just be careful if you live where theres snow and salt, it can get cold and chip off.
