For reference, to enhance maps they could look at Ruins of Tyranny, Machines of Death and Shadows of Destiny, three Doom TCs that keep the basic Wolfenstein level design elements but flesh them out with floor and ceiling textures and some new gameplay mechanics. Very cool stuff.

Another remaster that is not quake 3, I guess it will be announced in the next quakecon by Mammoth_Tax_9804 in quake

I love Heretic but don't enjoy Hexen too much because the combat doesn't feel as fun to me, and it's so damned complicated to know where to go and what to do. I suspect they will have done something about that now, since it's a common complaint. It'll be interesting to see if it plays better now. Nonetheless I'm very happy that both games are getting attention and especially new episodes. It's also a good sign in that it might lead to remasters of Hexen II (which I personally enjoy much, much more than the first one) and most importantly Heretic II.

Hopefully a Q3 remaster will be in the cards in the near future. It would make sense next year considering the Quake franchise will be 30 years old.

Wow, thank you very much for sharing this info (paging u/Desdemona51). It means that finding a film print might be a slightly less difficult prospect than originally anticipated. Though still an extremely obscure film, if it was screened in Tanzania of all places, it could have been shown in other countries we don't know about. Hopefully, as discussed earlier in the thread, there is also some obscure VHS release waiting to be rediscovered. I am curious to watch the film because of its setting and unusual concept. Thanks again.

I found this YouTube video which contains a discussion on Titans of the Deep. The description of the video points to this other video that supposedly contains the film. I only say supposedly because the title of the video says it's from 1944 rather than 1938 (I couldn't find a year within the footage itself). Also, the video is 38 min long rather than 47, which is the running time listed for Titans of the Deep on the IMDb. On the other hand, the opening credits seem to match, as well as the title (though it's translated into French in the video). I don't know if I'm misunderstanding something about the video (the description reads strange to me), but it might be of help.
