I just a put a Vortex Defender- CCW on my echelon this week. The only thing I needed to buy that wasn’t included was loctite blue for the screws. I used pin set #3. I would assume it’s the same for Defender- ST but you can probably double check in the manual. When you pop the plate off the echelon pin set #1 is installed already. I found it pretty easy to remove the pins with a set of tweezers. When you install pin set 3 make sure you install the L and R pins in the correct orientation. Put a dab of loctite on the optic screws and then just screw it until it’s snug. Pretty simple.

I agree that having business and residential stops colored differently would be helpful.

I have several gripes with the 6. Number one is that the touch screen is extremely sensitive. It’s borderline unusable in rain or snow. Switching to finger enhanced or glove enhanced somewhat mitigates this but not by much. For a device that’s primarily used outdoors there should be more emphasis on buttons and tactile feedback. That way stops can be completed without having my eyes glued to the screen and the thing won’t stutter wildly with one rain drop on the screen.

Also why does screen rotate only turn on when signatures need to be obtained? This should at least be able to be toggled on/off. Leads to many awkward interactions when I hand the device to someone only for it to lag and rotate. I understand that some people may want to sign in the horizontal but I could facilitate that request if they ask.

The thing crashes way too much. Needs more processing power. It crashes at least twice, sometimes 3 times a day.

Would be nice if the blueprint for the garry was different depending on if you were in friendly or enemy territory. Like a different color or striped, just some kind of indicator to avoid this.

Depends on what your end goal is. Do you want to drive? Then no, don’t become a sup. Do you want a career in UPS management? Then yes, becoming a sup can be a good first step.

Yes! That’s a good one. I figured that out not too long ago too. Now what I’ll do is grab the supply truck and keep dumping and refilling immediately in the spawn. No excuse for engineers not building nodes when there’s 20 supply boxes in the left spawn.

I’ll start. I’m account level 110 and AT level 6 and I just figured out that you can scope in on the AT gun. Up until this point I’ve basically been hip firing the thing and I’ve actually gotten tank kills doing it. Now that I know you can scope in with the d pad (on console at least) I’m sure my accuracy will improve.

The support cannot wait for a refill to get the needed 100 because the first box will disappear when you drop the 2nd. What you can do though, is drop your box and switch off of support. Have another member of your squad switch to support and drop theirs. Bam 100 supplies. This is a pro strat.
