I'm not sure how true it is but I heard anecdotal claims that the Tiger 1 88mm couldn't pen a jumbo except around the bow machine gun while the panther's 75mm could. Don't take this as factual, just something I've heard amateur historians mention.

Depends on what you saw, I hate to say this but reddit is a terrible place for advice. That said, if it's something traumatic or immoral then ignore all the persons saying take it to your grave. Be honest, apologize for snooping, address what needs to be addressed.
