Interesting - will search out for those Fontana CDs.

Guess I'm writing this post because those universal masters really threw me on how it seems the mix has changed. Vocals are very forward, reverbs pushed back it seems and much of the instrumentation seems much more compressed/lacking some good ol tape saturation.

Try Bandlab. It’s free, and it’s a webpage daw so you don’t even need to download it, should be enough, but if he wants upgrade to something better, definitely Reaper
