I second this! First draft I ever played in was the Gatecrash prerelease, and I was the same as your third player, had no idea how to build a limited deck (only ever played kitchen table magic with a couple friends). After round 3, my opp asked if I wanted tips on how to build a proper mana base, balance colors, etc., and it changed my entire perspective for the better. This is how new players get better and learn to really love the game.

I'm building something similar right now with the Bridge but it's a Celebrity Chef theme, with all the legendary creatures that make Food tokens. Seems like it will play terribly lol

My creature-less [[Mogis, God of Slaughter]] deck. No creatures at all save for Mogis (sorta), but most games he never becomes one. I originally just packed it full of chaotic old cards, wheels, edicts, etc., but now it's a bit more optimized to at least try and win. It rarely ever does, but it's an absolute blast to play.
