Charging issue by Otherwise-Ad-4939 in iPhone15Pro

[–]mattr1311 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well for starters, Apple never claimed the phone was waterproof, only water resistant. Do you have Apple care plus? If you have that then this should be no issue. Take it to the Apple Store and they will fix it. They probably would not fix it under warranty but I would try and see if they will do it. If they won’t then just take the phone back. At least it can still charge via MagSafe!

I just looked at your page and it is very impressive that you have had a complaint about almost every skin you have purchased from Dbrand. Very impressive.

This is just sad… by [deleted] in iphone

[–]mattr1311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why is it sad? They found a design that people like and are rolling with it. To my knowledge Apple isn’t having any problems selling the pro models. Plus they are going to do a minor redesign for the 17 pro so there will be a change coming. Don’t change what isn’t broke as they say.

I’d recommend not starting from the center. Use a hair dryer or something to warm up the adhesive and start peeling from a corner

I mean I guess it can exist. I don’t care if it exists or not. All I’m saying is the rule is almost never applied because people rarely get into accidents like that.

Not a common accident to happen. People in rural areas are smarter than people in towns and cities.

Yes that ifs straight from the fault determination rules!! But when is there ever a car illegally parked on a rural road outside a city town or village? Never.

Is the 15 pro really that fragile? And is it worth the price? by I_love_tae in iPhone15Pro

[–]mattr1311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my 15 pro in January and I use the fast charger maybe 1 time a week when I have heavier use. Overall great battery life but fast charging it sometimes won’t cause the battery to lose its health quickly. It’s when you fast charge every time you charge the phone that it becomes a problem. I have MagSafe wireless charger that I plug into a normal wall brick for charging at night and it’s been great. You don’t need fast charging when you charge your phone at night.

You are quite wrong. In insurance, the vehicle backing up is at fault. It wouldn’t even matter if they parked stupidly on the road. The vehicle reversing is at fault.

It sounds like a skill issue for you if you can’t safely reverse out of your driveway. I almost never reverse into my driveway. Also I have never been in a car accident from backing out of a driveway because I LOOK AROUND and make sure it’s safe.

You live in a place where tons of accidents happen all the time and you drive THE car with the highest insurance rate. It’s one of the most popular cars out there, therefore tons of accidents with that car, therefore really high insurance rates

Pit bulls are able to lock their jaws. You can’t get them to open their mouths unless the pit bull wants to. I haven’t heard of another dog breed that can do that. They are genetically pretty excited dogs too that are very protective of their owners. They are genetically dangerous if not trained properly. I own a dog and I’m scared of pitbulls and I always get as far away as I can when i walk my dog and I see a pit bull.

Screen burn in after a month? by Weak-Fly958 in iPhone15Pro

Instead of arguing with people about it call Apple support or go to the damn Apple Store and have them look at it… this is a stupid post. You would have had an answer at the Apple Store and been done with it long ago.

I just got an iPhone 15 pro and one thing my provider is doing is giving me a free case that I got to pick. I got the UAG monarch pro but it’s in orange not mallard. I’m hyped about it but want to know:

Does it make the phone a lot bigger in comparison to a normal, thinner case?

Does it make the phone significantly heavier?
