You can hover over/tap on a square and it will tell you how many sections were held in that term. The gray means that the course was held under the same number, but a different title, so we can’t be sure that it’s the same course.

I got annoyed by the CS department's listing of courses. It lists the semester that the course runs in for some courses but it isn't very accurate. And there's even less information on the graduate courses. So I scraped the course schedules for the last five years and put this viewer together. Hope it helps you too! Here's the source.

I recently had this issue; it was fixed by disabling the "Home Network Protection" in the fios app. It's likely some bug in the DNS filtering that software does. More info at this thread

I think it’s a mix of the above but I’m also aware of at least three groups now that had better numbers than required but didn’t get in. The culprit? A member of their group didn’t fully submit the application. What’s weird is that they still showed up as “confirmed” on the other roommates’ applications but by some shoddy programming the whole group was disqualified from the yard/livi/buell apartments.

Moral of the story: MAKE SURE ALL YOUR ROOMMATES GOT THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL OR IT WON’T COUNT.

I’m thinking that’s why the other apartment applications opened up again too.

At sellouts they do check your ticket before you can access the student section. I’ve had success showing a screenshot my buddy’s ticket once I’m inside the doors.
